Dayna is inspired and excited to teach each class because TPY creates a space for people to connect with their own authenticity and each other. Whether teaching or practicing, Dayna finds value in the journey towards discovering more acceptance of all the chaos that makes life the beautiful journey it is.
A former practicing attorney and law professor, she feels especially grateful to now be spending time cultivating awareness and peace and helping others do the same. She says she’s “happiest during practice when [she's] finding the flow of breath, body, movement—when [she can] lose the chattering mind and find the deep quietness within that is ever present but often masked.”
A native of South Florida, Dayna is a graduate from the University of Florida and the University of Michigan Law School. She moved to Atlanta in 2012 and currently lives in North Buckhead with her husband, daughter, and two sons. When not teaching or practicing, Dayna is busy raising three young children, volunteering in her community, reading, cooking, and dancing. Keep up with Dayna on Instagram and Spotify - @daynaroyal- and be sure to catch her on Tuesdays at 9:30 a.m., Saturdays at 7:45 a.m., and at various other times during the week.
